The Lord will protect us

I am doing good... loving my mission. this transfer is a little bit harder but i am good... this area is a lot more difficult to work in. the people are just rejecting us and its very hard to find good people.. we haven't had anyone in church with us for the last 3 weeks and its a bit discouraging... but i know that there are good people here waiting for me. We found someone yesterday who said she never opens the door but she just felt like she needed to this time and she accepted to receive our visits...

Last Monday we had a very different experience I won't give details but this last week satan was working really hard with our district, mainly with the other sisters who I live with. some things happened and they just were told by the spirit to go home and when they did more things happened and they were so scared and they called us and when i answered they said we needed to come home RIGHT now, so we went running because they were really scared and it was just strange...

We got home and we walked into the house and they said that everything that was happening bad just stopped.. i know that the Lord protected them and that this experience was strange but shows that satan is truly powerful and trying in all forms to steal our souls.. that same night our bishop came and rededicated our house and it amazes me the words he said, he promised that angels will be around protecting and watching over us and we all knew in that moment it was true because we could feel them there. it was amazing and a crazy thing that had happened!!!

My foot is good. i was walking in the street (not literally) and i went to step over a piece of wood that was there and i stepped wrong and i stepped on the board with the nail and it went into my foot!! hahah i don't have a photo because it didn't make a very big mark.. just a little one..

This week my mission is focusing a lot on faith and obediences we had mission tour this week and we had Elder Atunes come and speak to us it was so great . he talked about obedience in all rules even when we don't know why, just do it with a smile and know that everything that is there as a rule is there to protect us!! i loved every minute of conference! it was also sad because it was the last time i was able to see one of my better friends here on the mission before she goes home.. and it was a very sad goodbye very quick and sad:( but its okay i know i will be able to talk to her again!!

I love you tons and i miss you all like crazy i hope you all have a great week!!

By the way the other sisters in my house are starting to be trunky for me... hahahaha

Com todo meu coração amo vocês<3

They are going to be sealed in the Temple

This week was great I had my 11 months mark!! and I had a split with Sister Magelby. she is from California and my birthday was good... didn't do much on Friday my companion gave me a teddy bear, and the other sisters forgot, i received a call from President Scholz wishing me a happy birthday and I went to the bishop's house for dinner. It went well, we ate a lot!!

Alynne sent some soap!! hahah I love the smell of this soap. it's a bit more expensive too.. it was great to talk to her. she didn't believe it was me at first. she said my voice is different. Oh guess what Alynne and Elison are going to be getting married in the temple!!!!!!!

That's all for this week!

I love my Savior with all my heart

This week, the first as senior honestly its just a title and doesn't mean much to me.. the only thing different is that i have the telephone and i am the one who gets "yelled" at if our numbers are low, so that's about it.. nothing special... this week i am trying to get to know the new area its giant!!! i live with S. Mevs shes Brazilian and her companion is S. Peralta she's from Chile.. they are cool. good be getting to know new people!!!

The members i have met are great they help a lot and are very strong in the gospel!! we don't have a lot of investigators we've cut a lot this week and will be starting fresh!! we have one family that's almost ready for baptism, just need to get over the fear of making mistakes again after baptism... does anyone have any advice on what we could teach them to know that even with our mistakes we still have a chance to be clean again? we've already taught them a lot about how the process of repentance is for before and after the  baptism but they still don't get it. if anyone has any ideas it would be a big help!!

well that's it for this week i am excited to be here in Barretos and to be serving our Savior!!! i love Him with all my heart!!<3

New City, New Companion

i love you great grandma i know that this is Heavenly Father´s Plan and i know without a doubt that she will be happy and healthy and with great grandpa soon. i am grateful for our knowledge about this plan and that we know exactly what will happen.

hey so this week was a very stressful week... all week we had been thinking about transfers and what would happen and people just kept rejecting us so that doesn't help... we had been doing so well finding people and having people in church with us and i know that in this time of difficulties its a test to show our faith and what will will do to show our savior that we are willing to do all for him!!

yes i was transferred and it was a SURPRISE to us all and to be honest i am not that excited to be transferred, okay not excited is an understatement, when we received the call i was super upset and i cried and left the room because i was so mad, i went to my room and just prayed to know why, why i had to say goodbye to so many people i love and why so fast ...i had plans and things to do in Birigui, people i didn't want to say goodbye too, but in the end i know that this is the Lord´s plan he knows best and i know that there is a reason that i was transferred.. this transfer i am in Barretos its all about the country here, i am now senior to my new companion Sis. Araujo she has 7 months in the mission and she is from Maranhão, Nordeste.. that's all i know about her as for now its been less than 5 hours together... as of being senior i don't think i am ready to be senior but i know without a doubt that the Lord knows Best in all things and that if he thinks i am ready i trust in him, i will continue give my whole heart, and all my efforts to the Savior..

we had meetings with President and he asked what has changed the most in the mission and i just thought for a minute and my only response was that i have changed and that i have learned to truly study and feast upon the scriptures and and i just know that i have changed for the better and that i know that our Savior is truly molding me into the person he needs me to be and that through him i know that all things are possible and that he truly knows the best.. i guess that is my theme in my mission is that our Father in Heaven Knows Best!!

i love you all so much and i miss you so much!! know that the lord is watching over you all<3
